Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2014 / 06 / 20 In the big caslon font mac rear cabin, rows 80 to 83 there is very limited space in the overhead lockers.
I was shocked that this was a setup in a transatlantic journey.Best picks overall are 53K and 53A as they offer direct aisle access but another good (if risky) pick on flights that are not full is the middle E seat which is wider, and 53E offers direct aisle access.Upper deck has low ceilings, reduced aisle so that they could squeeze in 7 seats in every row.The Aisle seating is very very narrow in B/C and you are always being nudged by FA's and passengers when they walk. However, because of the way how your seat is at an angle you are a bit situated away from the window.Submitted by Mark C on 2017 / 06 / 16 for Seat 72J This was a standard World Traveler seat however due to my size I found the seat uncomfortable legroom wise. The foot section is separate from the seat and a bit awkward. The additional storage space adjacent to the window is an excellent feature. It was quite amusing! .
One bonus for 76K and 77K is the extra storage bin between the seat and the outer wall of the plane.
Access to 2 massive storage boxes by windows.
I so did not enjoy this trip that i will specifically be looking to avoid the 380 from now.
Therefore, not the most comfortable plane for a long flight, and one of the rare occassions when I struggled to sleep.
No problem regarding the lavatories and I slept the entire overnight flight from Vancouver to Heathrow. The IFE screen tilts. If on my own or with colleagues I would rather be on the upper deck or not in the middle as it is not that private!Submitted by SeatGuru User on 2015 / 10 / 24 for Seat 12e This middle seat is fine if you want to be close to the traveller next to you.It isn't so much the rear-facing seats, it's just the configuration of having to stare at the person opposite from when the partition is in the lower position. All in all, I think my experience with BA First Class service is exceptional specially the way how FA Caroline took care of my every need.Bring back the 747 or order the 747 800.Flight and Service was very good. The positive factors are that the plane is very quiet and the lavatories pristine (which one would expect on a new aircraft).Admitedly it was a very old plane. On the main deck 15A and 15K are good picks because they are recessed and relatively private, there is direct aisle access, and also because 15B and 15J are often unoccupied.Verdict A very good service.
